Our Origin
How We Started
The Ummah Chamber of Commerce was established in August 2023 in response to growing unemployment challenges facing Muslim graduates and GMSA alumni across Ghana. Recognising that economic empowerment and institutional development go hand in hand, the founders set out to build a dynamic organisation that bridges local Muslim businesses with national and global opportunities.
Our Mission
To be a leading voice for Zongo and Muslim businesses in Ghana, promoting economic growth, innovation, and prosperity through advocacy, business partnerships with international and local entities, networking, capacity building, and job and internship creation.
Our Vision
A thriving, self-sustaining Muslim business community in Ghana that is fully integrated into both the national and global economy — recognised for innovation, integrity, and impact.
